California Consumer Privacy Notice
1. Purpose and General Principles
(a) The purpose of this California Consumer Privacy Notice("Notice") is to provide California Consumers with a description of Publishers Clearing House’s (“PCH”, “us”, “we” “our”) privacy practices, including our collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information, and the rights of California Consumers regarding their Personal Information under the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA"), as amended. In the event of a conflict between any other PCH policy, statement, or notice and this Notice, this Notice will prevail as to California Consumers and their rights under California law. Unless otherwise noted, the disclosures contained within this Notice cover our activities in the prior 12 months from the date this Notice was last updated, as well as our current practices.
(b) This Notice is intended to be read together with PCH's Privacy Policy, which sets forth a description of PCH's online and offline practices regarding the collection, use, disclosure, and Sale of Personal Information pertaining to consumers, including California Consumers. References in this Notice to the "Privacy Policy" refer to the Privacy Policy available at https://privacy.pch.com .
(c) This Notice applies only to persons who are residents of the State of California (including those who call California "home," but are outside the state for a temporary or transitory purpose), referred to herein as “California Consumers.” It does not otherwise apply to persons who live in other states, and the rights and privileges set forth in this Notice are not available to such other persons.
(d) For the purposes of this Notice, capitalized terms are used as defined under the CCPA.
2. Your Right to Know About Personal Information Collected, Used, Disclosed, Shared and/or Sold by PCH
(a) California Consumers have the right to know: the categories of Personal Information that PCH collects; the categories of sources from which the Personal Information is collected; the Business or Commercial Purposes for Collecting, Selling, or Sharing the Personal Information; the categories of recipients to whom Personal Information is disclosed; and the specific pieces of Personal Information collected. This is called the "Right to Know."
(b) For instructions on submitting a request to exercise your Right to Know, a description of the process PCH will use to verify your request and any information you will have to provide in support of such request, see Section 5 below .
(c) PCH's Collection, Sources, Uses, and Sale, and Sharing of Personal Information.
(1) PCH Collects Personal Information about California Consumers in the categories listed in the chart below.
(2) PCH has Collected Personal Information about California Consumers from sources in the categories described in Section 2 of the Privacy Policy available at https://privacy.pch.com/ .
(3) PCH has Collected Personal Information about California Consumers for the business and commercial purposes described in Section 1 of the Privacy Policy available at https://privacy.pch.com/ .
(4) PCH has disclosed Personal Information about California Consumers to recipients in the following categories described in Section 4 of the Privacy Policy available at https://privacy.pch.com/
(5) PCH uses and discloses Sensitive Personal Information for purposes other than those specified in Cal. Code Regs., Title 11, Section 7027(m).
(6) PCH retains Personal Information about California Consumers for as long as necessary to provide the products and fulfill the transactions you have requested, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and other legitimate and lawful business purposes. Where Personal Information is used for more than one purpose, we may retain it until the purpose with the latest period expires.
(d) Disclosure or Sale of Personal Information.
(1) In the last 12 months, PCH has disclosed, Shared, or Sold Personal Information about California Consumers to recipients for the business and commercial purposes described in Section 4 of the Privacy Policy available at https://privacy.pch.com/.
(2) PCH does not knowingly Collect, Share, or Sell the Personal Information of persons under 16 years of age.
(3) The table below lists, for each category of Personal Information Collected (i) whether that category of Personal Information was Sold or Shared to any third party, and, if so, the categories of third parties to whom it was Sold or Shared, and (ii) whether that category of Personal Information was disclosed for a Business or Commercial Purpose to any third party, and, if so, the categories of third parties to whom it was disclosed.

- Internet or other electronic network activity information;
- Geolocation data;
- Non-public education information;
- Professional or employment-related information;
- Inferences; and
- Sensitive Personal Information
We Sell and/or Share this Personal Information for advertising purposes to Third Parties. The Third Parties to whom this Personal information was Sold and/or Shared are advertisers and digital analytics vendors.
We offer you the ability to opt-out of these Sales and Sharing as set forth in the “Opt Out” Section below.
3. Your Right to Request Deletion of Personal Information
(a) California Consumers have a right to request the deletion of their Personal Information collected or maintained by PCH, subject to certain exceptions.
(b) For instructions on submitting a Request to Delete, and a description of the process PCH will use to verify your request, including any information you will have to provide in support of such a verified request, see Section 5 below .
4. Your Right to Request Correction of Inaccurate Personal Information
(a) California Consumers have a right to request the correction of any inaccuracies in their Personal Information collected or maintained by PCH.
(b) For instructions on submitting a Request to Correct, and a description of the process PCH will use to verify your request, including any information you will have to provide in support of such a verified request, see Section 5 immediately below .
5. Instructions for Submitting a Verifiable Consumer Request to Know, Delete, and Correct.
You can submit a Request to Know, Request to Delete, or Request to Correct your Personal Information by taking the following actions:

You may also submit a consumer request by calling PCH toll-free at (844) 557-8505.
(a) For any of the above requests, complete the authentication required in order to verify your identity, which may include an attestation for persons who do not have a password-protected account with PCH.
(b) Once you have completed the authentication process, please follow the directions on the online form to provide us with information necessary to locate your account. You will be asked to provide:
i. Name and Address;
ii. Email address (please provide the email address associated with your PCH account);
iii. Your PCH customer number (if you know it); and
iv. Any PCH order ID's (if you know one or more of them).
NOTE: Items iii. and iv. are optional fields that will be used to help identify your PCH activity. It is not necessary to provide this information for your request to be valid.
(c) Submit the form. Upon submission of the online form, you will be provided a transaction ID. Please retain this for future reference.
(d) Create a username and password within the CCPA portal. You will be able to track the status of your request, receive update messages and receive a final confirmation message in this portal. This account information is for the CCPA portal only and will not be used for any PCH marketing accounts.
Your Request to Know, Request to Correct, or Request to Delete will have to be verified before PCH can act upon it. A verified Request to Know, Request to Correct, or Request to Delete is called a "Verifiable Consumer Request." Upon successful submission of a Verifiable Consumer Request, PCH will promptly begin working on your request. You will receive notification upon completion.
NOTE: PCH has retained the services of a vendor to assist us with the validation process. Personal information submitted by you during the authentication process will be retained for twenty-four months.
6. Your Right to Opt Out of the Sale or Sharing of Personal Information
(a) California Consumers have a right to opt out of the Sale or Sharing of their Personal Information by PCH. This is called the "Right to Opt Out."
(b) To exercise your Right to Opt Out, please complete and file the webform available at https://accounts.pch.com/do-not-sell .
(c) You can also exercise your Right to Opt Out by using an opt-out preference signal sent by a platform, technology, or mechanism such as a browser plug-in or privacy setting, device setting, or other mechanism, that communicates or signals your choice to opt-out of the sale of your personal information. PCH will generally recognize the opt out signal of any known California Consumer that has an account with PCH and is logged into our website. For California Consumer that is not known to us because they do not have an account with PCH, has deleted that account per a Right to Delete request, or that has logged out of their account, PCH will apply the opt out signal on a browser-level basis only.

7. Your Right to Limit the Use or Disclosure of Sensitive Personal Information
(a) California Consumers have the right to limit the Use or Disclosure of their sensitive Personal Information by PCH. This is called the “Right to Limit.”
(b) To exercise your Right to Limit, please complete and file the webform available at https://accounts.pch.com/privacy/rtl .
8. PCH Will Not Discriminate Against You for Exercising Your Privacy Rights
(a) California Consumers have a right to be free of discriminatory treatment by any business for exercising their privacy rights under the CCPA.
(b) PCH will not discriminate against you in any way, including but not limited to denying you goods or services available to others, charging you different prices or providing you with a different quality of goods or services.
9. Authorized Agent
(a) California Consumers can authorize another person (an “Authorized Agent”) to make a request under the CCPA on the consumer’s behalf.
(b) You will have to provide written authorization to your Authorized Agent, and upon request either you or your Authorized Agent will have to provide written authorization to PCH to verify your identity and their authority to act for you.
